About BRAC Kumon Limited
BRAC Kumon Limited brings the world-renowned Kumon Method of Learning to Bangladesh, empowering children to become independent, motivated, and advanced learners.
Established through a collaboration between Kumon Institute of Education Co., Ltd. (Japan) and BRAC, Kumon first arrived in Bangladesh in 2014 through a pre-pilot supported by BEP, Tokyo University, RED, and JICA. The first center opened in Dhanmondi in September 2017, followed by a second in Uttara soon after — offering the Kumon Math Program.
In 2019, Kumon English was introduced, and by 2020 BRAC Kumon opened franchise opportunities, extending its reach across Dhaka.
Today, BRAC Kumon combines 60+ years of Kumon’s expertise with BRAC’s deep-rooted community presence to help children realize their full potential. Our mission is to develop independent, proficient, and enthusiastic learners who are prepared to face future academic and life challenges with confidence.
